Bus Pass Information

Changes were made to CATA routes beginning Fall 2018.  Routes 30-39 that circulate campus, better known as the Spartan Service, are free to ride for everybody and no longer require a pass or a card. You can simply just board the bus!

Student Bus Passes

The MSU ID Office is the only place on campus that sells the 31 day and semester passes for students who will be utilizing CATA's bus routes off-campus.

Please be advised that you must have your Spartan Card with you in order to purchase a bus pass.

Student semester bus passes are eligible to be replaced at no cost once per semester if lost. In order to obtain a replacement bus pass, your pass must be linked to your Spartan Card. Bus passes purchased in our office are linked to your Spartan Card at the time of purchase. If you obtained a semester bus pass from somewhere else, you can bring it to our office and have it linked so that you can replace it if you lose it!

The MSU ID Office does not sell passes to employees or individuals who are not current MSU students.
