Door Access
Your Spartan Card can be used for access to secured doors and areas across the campus. Identity Services does NOT add door access onto the cards.
Door access, such as access to a specific academic building or office, can be added by the department that desires you to have that access. Please reach out to the department and they will get the appropriate door access added.
When using your Spartan Card for door access, please make sure to take it out of your wallet or bag. Another card you are carrying could interfere with the card reader.

Dining Plans
Your Spartan Card can be used for access to dining halls across the campus, once you have purchased a meal plan. For information on dining halls, meal plans and menus, please visit Eat@State. If you wish to purchase a meal plan, you can do so online at Eat@State or in-person at the ID Office and other on-campus locations.
Library
Your Spartan Card can be used in the libraries across the campus to check out materials. For information on checking out library materials, please visit Library Borrowing Information page.
Recreational Facilities (IM)
Your Spartan Card can be used for access to recreational facilities across the campus. For information on obtaining a membership and accessing the facilities, please visit the RecSports Membership page.
Parking
Your Spartan Card can be used to unlock parking gates once you purchase the appropriate parking permit. For information on obtaining a parking permit, please visit Parking Permits website.
